Kristy Regan, from Hazelgreen School in District 126 Alsip-Hazelgreen-Oak Lawn, is one of three finalists for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) 2018. It is the nation’s highest honor for teachers of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM, including Computer Science). She will be recognized on Friday, October 19, 2018, during the ICTM Conference at the Tinley Park Conference Center.
