About Ms. Small’s Session
Getting to Know Your Students (Mathematically)
You have a fresh group of students in front of you this coming year and you want to establish the right personal and academic environment for them as quickly as possible.
What can you do to start the year to provide you the information you need to meet students where they are and move them forward in as non-threatening a way as possible?
We will explore the kind of diagnostic information you might want to gather and how gathering that information through the use of open questions might serve them and you in a very useful way.
Ms. Small will meet with administrators immediately following her session.
Learn more about all our session choices at https://mcmi.uic.edu/summer-institute/.
Registration is available on Eventbrite.
Registration is FREE to all administrators and to teachers from schools or districts engaging in services with MCMI for the 2021–2022, and available for a fee to all non-MCMI Participants. Please verify your MCMI status and ensure that you have district approval prior to registering.
Please contact Jean Goldrich (email@example.com) with any questions.
We look forward to working with you this summer!
