School Year 2022–2023
Instructional Leadership Institute
This 5-part series is designed for all instructional leaders interested in learning more about what to “look-for” in powerful mathematics classrooms. We will discuss how to support teachers as they shift their practice and examine tools and frameworks to make these shifts possible and sustainable.
In the series, we will discuss effective teaching practices, lessons structures and beliefs that create student access while maintaining high cognitive demand. Finally, we will also explore strategies that help teachers use student thinking to confront misconceptions, build on students’ assets, and develop academic vocabulary.
All sessions will be held via Zoom from 9:00–10:30.

Session 2: October 13 |
