Building Fact Fluency Institute
This series is designed for teachers and teacher leaders who want to focus some energy on building and assessing students’ fact fluency in grades K–8. Participants will focus on helping students develop reasoning strategies, assessing students, responding to students’ varied needs, and discussing ways to share these efforts with colleagues in your school. Attended before? That is ok. The content will be differentiated. ISBE Professional Development hours will be provided for each session.
One full-day in-person session from 8:30 am–3:00 pm and four 2.5-hour virtual sessions from 12:30–3:00 pm OR 4:00–6:30 pm.
- Session 1: September 14, virtual
- Session 2: October 19, in-person at UIC
- Session 3: November 28, virtual
- Session 4: February 5, virtual
- Session 5: May 7, virtual
Registration costs are listed in EventBrite. For districts participating in the MCMI PD Consortium, registration costs are covered by the terms of the contract.
